Walton & Covington · Northern Kentucky

Your first visit, explained.

A conversation, an examination and a clear explanation of your options—before you decide on a care plan.

Choose the right office

Our two offices have different schedules. Walton on Clay Drive serves patients from Walton, Richwood, Union and surrounding communities. Covington on West 6th Street is an option for patients in Northern Kentucky and across the river in Cincinnati, with Saturday hours.

What to bring

  • Your medication list and relevant health history.
  • Existing imaging reports or records relevant to your concern.
  • Your insurance card if you plan to use coverage.
  • Questions about your symptoms, work, exercise or daily activities.

What happens during the visit?

Dr. Erik Simms will discuss your concerns and examine the areas relevant to your symptoms. You can ask what the findings mean, what options are available, what risks or limitations apply and how progress will be assessed. If your symptoms need a different type of evaluation, referral may be recommended. Treatment recommendations depend on the examination; a particular outcome or number of visits cannot be promised.

Ask about fees and insurance before you book

Call your chosen office for current initial-visit fees, follow-up fees and self-pay options. Ask the office and your insurer about your specific network, deductible, copay and any referral requirements. Coverage for additional therapies can differ from coverage for a chiropractic visit. Do not assume a service is covered until it has been checked.

Parking and accessibility

Use the current address on your office page for directions. Call before your visit if you need details about parking, the entrance or step-free access so the team can help you plan.

When not to wait for an appointment

Seek urgent medical care for new loss of bladder or bowel control, severe or worsening weakness, major injury, or other sudden serious symptoms. An online appointment request is not monitored as an emergency service.

Submitting the form requests a callback; your visit is confirmed only after the office contacts you.
